(this book got the full Trashy Tuesday treatment.)goodreads is asking 'What did you think?' and I'm having a difficult time figuring out what to say.I think if I was in junior high - and wasn't familiar with all of the tropes and clichés that were used and abused in this book - I probably would have liked it, but I'm a grown woman and the borrowing of other universes was a bit heavy handed. If it were geared at the young side of YA, I would have forgiven much of what was wrong with it - but it wasn't. If I weren't familiar with Cassie Clair Clare's background, I would have forgiven much more - but I am. As it stands, I'll read the rest of them since I already own them, but it will be with much sighing and eye-rolling.I don't even think I can give it any stars right now. I'll figure that out at a later date, I guess.
